Fettucine with Tuna sauce.

 
This is a nice, different way to do pasta. It both tastes and looks delicious.
 

Ingredients

 

500 g Fettucine
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic
425g can of tomatoes
1 tablespoon basil, preferably fresh and ripped up small
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper
185g can of tuna in oil.
 
 

Method

 
Cook fettucine.
 
Heat the oil, and fry the garlic in it. Stir in the tomatoes. Bring to the boil and add the basil, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Drain the tuna and separate. Add the tuna to the sauce and heat through. Serve the sauce on the fettucine.
