Museli home made


Shop bought museli is very sweet, not healthy and not filling. This recipe is the Tiffwat home-made version. it is not fixed, it is an amalgamation of ideas
Start with this, then ad or remove parts to suit your preference.

Ingredients

About 2kg rolled oats ( or a bit less, Coles gives you 1800g) Do not use quick-cook rolled oats.
1 cup sesame seeds
1cup  flax seeds or linseed mix
1cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1cup dried diced pawpaw
1 cup dried diced pineapple
1 cup sultanas
10 dried apricots diced
3/4 cup macadamias
3/2 cup almonds
3/4 cup cashews ALL NUTS UNSALTED!

All the weird bits can be got from natural living in the Belconnen markets if they cannot be got from normal supermarkets.

Method, stir it all up; that's it!

If someone is wearing a brace so thy can't eat nuts, you can replace the nuts using 'LSA' mix.

If you want to increase Calcium uptake, add a cup of low fat skim milk powder. This is relevant for people in their early teens to reduce the onset of osteopornosis in later life.
