Canberra Bushfires from the Watson Perspective.

 

 

The following weekend.

 

Well, we were showing a friend around the centre of Canberra, and we saw all the fire services that had come in to help lining up in front of Parliament house for their photos. I guess that Queensland fire engines don't often get to sit in front of parliament house!!

 

Lining up for the big photo. This picture was taken from the roof of New Parliament House. You can still see the smoke over Mount Ainslie, about 3Km away.

How do you say how grateful you really are to the hundreds or thousands of people who travelled hundreds or thousands of kilometres to help save the butts of me, my family, and my home?
