Main course dishes
Baked
Rats' tails, (oven roasted ratatouille). This
method of cooking vegetables maintains their original flavours,
enhanced with herbs: crisp on the outside, hot and bursting with
juicy flavour as you bite.
Borscht.
A flavoursome soup, coloured dark maroon. An exotic looking starter
or main course.
Courgette
(Zucchini)
fetta filo pie. A vegetarian, tasty meal. An
excellent way to manage an overload of courgettes when in season.
Fettucine
with
tuna sauce. The main thing here is the sauce.
Tasty, and makes pasta into a meal by itself.
Impossible
pie. A quick and easy egg and bacon pie
without any pastry needed.
Pasta.
Pasta that is made from its original ingredients will need a litle
more preparation, but gives something for everyone to do in the
lead-up to a meal. Both kids and adults enjoy it, and it gives
everyone lots of potential to get creative with their sauces.
Pasta pestos.
Two pesto sauces based on fresh herbs, to make a plain pasta meal
into something out of the ordinary.
Sausage rolls.
Basic, ordinary, yummy and versatile. Nothing too special, but
always appreciated!
Moong dal.
this is an unusual, very nice Indian dish.
Lentil
Chilli This is a vegetarian equivalent
to Chilli con Carne, chilli without the beef.
